Yesterday I decided to just go out to the backyard with Ilya and have fun. And I did! The light and colors in the pictures turned out so pretty. The poses and such aren't very interesting though. If the camera wasn't being such a drama-llama I might have been able to focus more on that. You know, things like the batteries dying, the memory-card being full, me having to run back inside to fix all that. But no prob, I really like these pics either way.
The word "solitude" popped up in my head while looking through the pics I had taken, so I put that word in the title. At first I didn't really think it would fit the shoot, but it does fit the character. Somehow Ilya always ends up alone, and most of the time it's his own damn fault. It's kind of sad now that I think about it.
Something else I noticed is that Ilya has Mary Sue traits. Which totally cracks me up. For example he's a Half-Angel. That's typically Mary Sue on it's own. And he always happens to be at the places where the interesting stuff happens, or he's making interesting stuff happen himself. :'D
But he also has traits that are absolutely not Mary Sue. Like the fact that almost nobody in the story really likes him. Maybe two people? No, maybe one. And I'm not so sure about that one either. XD The first impression he gives you is that he seems like a nice and kind-hearted man, and he really is. But when you get to know him better you notice he has a very ugly side as well. He takes what he wants when he needs it and thinks he's justified to do so too. And most people don't want to have anything to do with that side of him.
Ah, I love Ilya-man! He's such a cute little loser! X3
