I have so much to say and want to type it all at once, which is not possible obviously. :P
First of all, I had an outfit made for Delagrand by Raouken. I wanted an outfit he wears mostly in the first part of the story, where he resides on the mortal world. And the gown turned out absolutely perfect!
Today I went to a graveyard to take pictures of Delagrand in his new attire. I thought a graveyard would be really fitting. After I had taken the pictures I was kind of being angsty. Afraid they might not be good enough, but when I sat down behind my pc and started looking through all the pics that I had taken I was blown away. So much gorgeousness. I just couldn't choose! XD

So here's a lot of pictures of the Cherubim Il Delagrand, descended upon the world.

Shoot the Apple off my Head

Omg, I just posted some photos on DeviantArt! I've been thinking about showing my stuff over there, and then my sis suggested it too. So I finally got the guts to actually do it. Really exciting, but also very scary. Trying out new things always scares me shitless. :'D

Anyway, I've been wanting to do some more artsy-fartsy shoots lately. But I've been so unispired I just couldn't think of anything. Then this "apple on your head" idea suddenly plopped into my head. And I thought Rhannas would be perfect for that. I did an apple-shoot with her before and that one went really well.
Over time Rhannas has really changed. Maybe not from the outside, but surely from the inside she has. She was the leading character in a certain story, but I totally bailed on that story. So Rhannas's personality slowly started to change from this cute "albino-race" girl to this whimsical ghost girl. She doesn't have a story behind her anymore, but I actually really like that. It makes her free, and I think that's when she's at her best. X3

...I think she's in need of some new eyelashes though... >.>

Underneath

Took these pictures a week ago. But couldn't really upload them since the motherboard of my pc died. X_X (and I explicitly want to do stuff like that on my own pc, I'm stubborn like that. :'D) I finally found a wig for Ilya that comes close to the hairstyle he has in the story! Huzzah! Every time I came across a wig with the right length, colour an waviness it had freaking BANGS. And Ilya doesn't have bangs. >.<

And now for a little story about Ilya...
He is the protagonist of the story, and is in general nice and kind. But when you get to know him and dig a little deeper you'll see a really ugly side of him. He is an incredible hypocrit. For him the ends justify the means. But if someone else does something similar he gets on his high horse. This attitude of his gets things done alright, but he doesn't make a lot of friends. XP
He actually used to have a really good friend. Angel is his name (a character that I will get in doll-form also). Ilya did some things both intentional and unintentional that made Angel very angry. Nowadays he outright hates Ilya, and Ilya doesn't understand why Angel makes such a scene about it all.
It's sad, because they were such an awesome team together.

...where was I going with this? Oh right, I often photograph Ilya as a fun and nice guy, but I want to try to show his darker side a little bit. I hope it shows in the pictures.

Face Like A Mask

His face IS a mask. It shows no emotions whatsoever. It's because he wears his emotions stored in a little pendant.

This is why...

The Realm of the Dead has a caretaker, who makes sure all souls keep flowing through the Realm and go back to the living world when they should. He is Death, a cloaked creature who wears a mask. No one knows what's behind the mask, some say there is nothing behind it at all.
At some point in time Death decided to create a son to aid him. So just like Death himself, Mordecai was created out of an idea. Not entirely human. Unfortunately there was too much Death-essence residing in him and he could not cope with it. Mordecai's emotions began to live a life of their own. It became another person that goes by the name of Mordes. Mordes would sometimes take Mordecai over to try ban out the Death-essence inside of him with his emotions. Because of this the foundation was slowly being destroyed, and soon both Mordecai and Mordes would die. To prevent that from happening Death took out Mordecai's emotions and stored them in a glass pendant.

Now Mordecai holds the pendant and the memories of his emotions close to his heart...

Frighteningly Familiar

It's as if I've done this shoot before...but better! 8D

That is the case actually. I decided to do this shoot with Trent at the same place in our garden as I did when he was still a Breakaway. I enjoyed doing this shoot with him so much! I was listening this cute song while taking pics of him. Made no sense, because cute isn't his style at all, but that song was so serene and nice I just had to. X3
Trent is part asian, and I must say it really shows in these photos. He also has a new cigarette. Hurray for that! He smoked all his others aka I lost them. :'D

Ahh, sometimes I just hate Trent, but today I love him. <3

Cat Around!

I did this cute little shoot a few days ago. It's all about that kitty cap Domodov's wearing of course. I got it from Hasel as a gift of some sorts. Thank you so much once again, Hasel! It was so awesomely sweet of you. (I wonder if she'll read this :'D)
Seriously, Domodov hasn't taken it off since I got it. Which means he's been wearing it for about 4 months now. XD

I don't really have anything more interesting to say so on to the pictures!

Two Sides Of The Same Coin...

Gaahhpffthabbidihab..I should stop doubting and post these darn photos. I'm not completely satisfied with these.. I'm sure I could have done better. But to do the whole shoot over again would be a bit silly. What irks me is that Trent doesn't really...you know..pop out. Ilya seems to steal the show. On the other hand it does say something about both of them. Ilya is the protagonist always there where things happen (causing things even). And Trent is the antagonist slithering in the back...waiting to strike..heheh. >:D
Oh wow, typing that helped. I like those pics better now. Though I should do a shoot with Trent alone, make him show off a bit more. ;P

The title of the shoot refers to the two last pictures. Both these pics are of the guys in the same pose but from a different angle. It's interesting that in one pic Ilya is very prominently present. He looks at Trent in a playful way (as if he's thinking about pulling a prank on Trent, which is not a healthy thing to do :'D) And in the other Trent is the one that draws your attention in his own creepy Trent-like way. The way he looks in the camera...you just don't want to know what he's thinking. *shudder*
When I was looking at these two photographs the words "Two sides....of the same coin!" popped up in my head, so I went with it.

Apple Of My Eye

I haven't taken any pics of my dolls in ages! I haven't really had the energy for a lot of things. My sister isn't doing so well these days. She not really living..merely existing. Which makes me really sad, because there's not a lot I can do about it all. Just be there for her..by her side.

Enough about that, now for some good news: I'm taking pics of my dolls again. Yay! Finally! :'D For example I did this shoot of Rhannas yesterday. It's snowing here and Rhannas wants a snow-shoot every friggin' year. So there I was, squatted down in the snow! It was soooo cooold. >.< Rhannas didn't care though. XP
I'm very happy with this shoot, it looks like a fairy-tale with that apple and our cat in the background. And you know what I found out just now? Rhannas turned 2 yesterday. THE day that I did this photoshoot. The coincidence scares the crap out of me. XD

Silly Rascal

I've decided I should stop saving for new dolls and start focusing on the dolls I have and complete some of them. :'D This boy here for example. I've been thinking he would look so awesome in a pirate outfit. And I normally am not into the whole pirate thing, but Domodov would look so friggin' cute as a swashbuckling...pirate. XD
Today I tried a furwig on Domodov, and I'm not too sure about it. I think wigs with bangs suit him much better. But it sure was fun to try out.

Angelic Insanity

I wanted to do a shoot with Delagrand a little while back. And after taking a few pics the batteries of my camera died. D'oh! I didn't really feel like doing the shoot again afterwards so I just chose the strongest picture of the bunch.

In my story all angels are downright crazy....to human standards anyway, because the angels themselves think their behaviour is normal. :'D
I think Delagrand might be just as nasty as the character Trent (the creepy psychopath) maybe even nastier. But just because it's so normal for an angel to be like that...Trent seems much worse. That is so funny! XD

Dead Flowers

My sister gave me an amazing birthday gift! Jewelry for Rhannas, and she made it herself! She specifically matched the colours of the jewelry to Rhannas's face-up. I'm so happy with...it's so beautiful. OoO
Finally made a shoot of Rhannas today. And she sure knows how to make a sunny summer day look like a cold winter day on photos. :'D

I feel good, and when I feel good I want to take pics of my dolls. And since two dolls of mine got new face-ups from jubriel I figured I could show them off. And these two are so different from each other, it's astounding. 8D

Domodov
My Volks Sunlight F-21. It's so funny that even after three years I still love him as much as the first day I got him. I'm so amazed by it. I just can't figure out why he's so incredibly dear to me...maybe because he's my very first doll... I noticed not many people seem to notice him or forget I have this boy. Maybe I should show him off more often? ;P

Ilya Delagrand
My Migidoll Ryu. He's such an important character to me. And this mold is just so incredibly perfect for him..it's just scary. He's far from finished though. I want a different body for him and have my sister give him the ASC (ascend) and DESC (descend) markings on his arms. And you have no idea what a pain it is to find the right wig for him. *rant* *rant*
I'm so very happy with his new face-up. It makes him look so much more mature. And because he's 31 years old that's a good thing. But no matter what wig, face-up, eyes or body he'll have...he will always remain cute. X3

Fields of Friesland

Me and my sis went to a dollmeet in Friesland (a province of the Netherlands). A meet that took 4 days and three nights...Longest meet I've ever been to. It was amazing, it really felt like we were all on a holiday. On the second day we went for a walk and I took Ilya with me to take some pics of him in a field. The sun was setting so the light was beautiful. X3
I really had a lot of fun the whole meet through.

"Happy" Family

I've been looking forward to doing this photoshoot with my sister. The shoot with the Delagrand family together. Il Delagrand (Luts Abadon) is the father. Ilya (Migidoll Ryu) and Ila (Narae43) are half-brother and half-sister. We wanted to portray the relations they have with each other and show the differences and similarities. Also the concept was to make it look like typical family photos, you know those old black-and-white ones.
I think it turned out great. X3

Whimsical Butterfly

A while ago I bought this amazing artist dress on DoA for Rhannas. When the dress arrived I tried it on but unfortunately it wasn't tight enough around the bust and therefore slipped down. So my mom and I carefully adjusted the dress and now it fits Rhannas perfectly. X3

Rhannas is a winter-girl but she sure looks good surrounded by colours...even if she doesn't agree. XP

Sexual Predator

I can't believe it took me so long to do a shoot with Trent. But here he is. XD It took so long because my sis was thinking that a modded sleeping Breakaway might be a better Trent, so I tried not to bond too much with the regular Breakaway. Tried and failed miserably! He's just too much ...Trent! ^_____^;

I did notice it's pretty hard to portray him and who he really is through photography. I wonder why that is. But Jubriel is planning on doing his face-up anew so maybe that'll help.
Funny thing is that once his jacket was unbuttoned the portraying went a lot easier. XD *slaps self*

Seriously, this guy just kills me! <3

Omg! It's Trent!

After being with Dutch customs for I don't know how long, he finally arrived two days ago. As soon as we (my sister and I) saw him we knew that a Breakaway was just perfect for the character Trent. My sis will be doing his face-up and I'm very curious about the outcome.

Cherubim

Il Delagrand is an angel, a Cherubim to be precise. So when I saw the priest outfits by Heise I knew I had to get one for Delagrand. It's exactly something that he would wear in the story. You could describe him as a villain. But I don't really believe in heroes and villains...Makes a story much more interesting too.
In one of the pics there's a text saying: " Hoe verbeeld je een engel?" Which is Dutch for: "How do you portray an angel?" Kewl, eh? XP

I haven't done a shoot in while...don't know why though. *shrugs* Anyway, Ilya got a new outfit from Sadol a while ago. And for some reason Sadol really has this style that's just perfect for Ilya. I love the hats they have at Sadol...really something that Ilya would wear. Especially when he dances, I always picture him wearing a hat. Ilya loves to dance, it's his absolute favorite thing to do. After months of thinking about it, I have decided to sell Ventaroth. He hasn't inspired me for such a long time and I also think he will not inspire me in the future. I love this boy but I have to let him go. And having decided this actually feels right.

Hurray!!! Snowzzz!!! XD I love snow. And if there's anybody that loves snow even more than me it's Rhannas. Her very first photoshoot was in the snow so every time it snows I take her out and do a shoot. After a little while my fingers nearly fell off. So I didn't manage to take as much photographs as normal. It was sooo cold! >.<

Not Your Average...

Not your average father and son: Il Delagrand (the father) and Ilya (the son). Ilya was actually an "accident" (maybe that's why he does lots of bad things "by accident" lololol) The Angel Delagrand was sent by God to Earth with a task and he decided to have some fun there on the side. But, oops! He got himself a son along the way. XD

Il Delagrand is pretty okay with having a son (and a daughter too). He thinks they're pretty cute. As long as Ilya doesn't get in his way or messes things up. (which he is good at. ;D)
Ilya on the other hand hates Delagrand. And does everything he can to not be like his father.

I tried to show their relationship in this shoot and I think it turned out nicely. In some pics you can see that Ilya would rather just walk right of the set but Delagrand just grabs him by the arm and smiles at the camera. XP
